Hello everyone,
This is my first post, so sorry if I don't know what I'm doing. I just wanted to give an update on what I'm currently working on. I think doing monthly updates like these would be a good way to do it (however for more frequent and behind the scenes stuff you could always follow me on twitter... Just saying...)
First off, I have released a new game for the Newgrounds July Game Jam: Hare Egg, I had a lot of fun making it and I'm pretty proud of how it turned out.
Next, A Date with Death has reached 25 000 views!! That's absolutely insane and I'm incredibly happy! Thank you everyone who played it, shared it and commented on it <3
Almost since the release of DwD I have been asked if I planned to do a sequel to it, to which I replied "...maybe? If I get a good idea".
The "Kys to date Death" mechanic can't really be repeated since... He's already dead... But I think I've had a few interesting ideas on how to make a sequel and am currently prototyping to see if they are fun.
And so (and the main reason for this post), I'd like to ask YOU what you'd like to see on a Date with Death 2.
- What did you enjoy the most on DwD?
- Would you like more focus on the dating aspect or did you enjoy the back and forth?
- Is there something you think need to be additionally explored from the first one?

I enjoyed the dialogue of the game and where death just keeps trying to get you to save the world but you just keep dying. It would be cool to see a version where the goddess tries to keep you from dating Death and to be a hero but the protagonist keeps going to date them anyways
